Lazy Susan - you out there?

Right on! That is a wonderfully equipped TC. It appears to be an early model from the low placement of the bilge and fish box through hulls. I was amazed that the boat didn't sit lower in the water with the addition of the generator and 3 house batteries.
Obviously, a southern state boat with A/C chosen over Radar. It would be nice to hear from the proud owner.

Hi Everyone,
I have not been on the C-Brats site until recently. We have had some family situations and health problems since upgrading Lazy Susan and have not done much boating in the past year. The upgrades were done to make overnight cruising and running the canals and Caloosahatchee River in Florida more enjoyable. It feels nice to be going in canals and slow speed zones with AC running.
The upgrades to Lazy Susan are as follows:
The vacuFlush toilet system and the placement of 3 batteries port forward were done by the previous owner. The Raymarine A65 GPS Chartplotter-Fishfinder System, VHF and window covers were also installed earlier. I had the Westerbeake 3kw Generator, Carbon Monoxide alarm, Mermaid 12,000 BTU Air Conditioner and Ceramic cooktop installed. I replaced the original 10amp battery charger with a xantrex 20amp multistage charger and replaced the 110v panel to accommodate AC and Genset. Also added a 110v outlet on rear shelf near AC vent and upgraded shore wiring to 10 gauge. The cost of all this was around $11,000.
Our health problems still persist and I have only taken the boat out periodically to keep everything running. It has less than 90 hours on engines and if things don’t improve soon I may be looking for a buyer.

I see that you keep your boat in the Burnt Store Marina. I was in that area last month -- had a couple of nice dinners at the Burnt Store Cafe.
I am curious about your genset installation. I notice that there appears to be a vent in the cockpit, facing forward. Does that provide all the ventilation the genset needs? What about the exhaust? Do you have it routed out above the Armstrong bracket?
How did you come to choose Westerbeke for your genset?

In response to Doryman question---the genset exhaust comes out on port rear just above other outlets (see photo added to album).
The air intake for the Genset is a main vent in center of box and 1 smaller on each side( see photo) also air from inside the stern compartments and pontoons.
The seacock water intake for the Genset is in bottom of Stbd pontoon a few inches from rear and AC water intake is similarly placed in Port pontoon.

Thanks for the explanation and photos -- never occurred to me that the genset might be W/C as all gensets (Honda, etc.) I have experience with are air cooled. Did you have no choice but to go with W/C for your installation? Or were there specific advantages that the W/C unit offers?
