Line drawings of Original Angler 22

I own hull #012....a 22 ft Angler. The boat [Frist] has been in my "family" since about 1986. I have fished it for the last twelve years. I am in the process of setting it up to fish offshore for albacore. A set of original line drawings [with stationing if possible] would be a real help to me.

Any ideas on where those might be found?

Best regards,

Dave..."Oldgrowth" can sometimes come up with some things...and you may also look in the documents section from the Forums section. Good luck and congratulations on keeping your boat in the family that long.

Awesome. Today, I still own Hull # 14 of 14 of the C-Dory 18' Angler. Great boat too!

I have an old C-dory brochure with a bit of info on pre 87 classic angler 22. It has no date on it and it has scant info. on dimensions etc. but I'd be happy to send you a pdf file if you want to pm me an e-address. Has the 18 Angler in it too, and the 16.

I've seen line drawings of the 22 Angler, but can't remember if they were on the old C-Brat MSN site or on the C-Dog site.

In either case, we'll have to find another currently available source, as when the sites close down all the graphics are lost, even if the written posts are copied over to a new site, as far as I can tell.

Thanks...I had an email exchange with B. Toland and he referred me to the new CEO at C-Dory. He agreed to look, but qualified the offer with the fact that they have not figured out the predecessor organizations filing system.

Stay tuned.

Just a note on the C-Dory Red Fox drawings:

The first is the original boat. The second and third are (I think) are an extended boat with a new transom area and a slightly modified interior.

What we need now is the original floor plan. Someone who has time ask Greg if he still has the original drawing.

How do you tell what Hull # you have ? I own a '82 and always wondered what Hull # I have.

I also have the orginal sales brochure, I will look it up tonight and see if there are line drawings on it.

Got-to-love the classics :)

If I can figure out how the attachment script in the Documents section works, I can post the brochure which cemii kindly forwarded to me. As to the hull number.....here is the drill

On the starboard side of the transom [outboard] is a stamped number..using mine as an example...

MFN 220120681...it is a 22 foot boat, hull number 012, manufactured 06/81.....

I think I got it downloaded to "Documents". Had to break it up for size.

I have another old promo from 89 vintage featuring the 21 Pro-Angler; 26PA;16 Fisherman and 22 Cruiser. That 26 must have been the prototype for Sea Drives!

Just to close out part of this thread, I heard back from Rich Finley this morning. They [CDory] are unable to locate any of the original line drawings for the Classic Angler.

CBrats.....we are on our own for this. Lacking any other resource, I will probably do a survey on my hull this fall including cross section stations.

I have some but can't decipher how to upload them to this site, I sent you an email and if you reply w/ your address I can email the files to you.
