I emailed the seller as soon as I saw it posted yesterday (I've become fairly obsessive about checking craigslist), probably an hour after it was posted, but so far I haven't heard back. Wish they had posted a number. I've been looking for a 22 cruiser, but this seems like it could be a good buy. I'll keep you posted.

I talked with the guy and was heading down to see the boat when he called me back and said that while cleaning up the boat he got cold feet. He is going to keep the boat for a couple of more years.
Ah well...

Sellers remorse hits me every time I've sold one of my toys. I've never backed off the decision to sell unless I'm going to take too big of a loss. But I've always got a wee tear in the eye once I see a favorite boat or airplane or car go down the road after I sell it. But then, I turn around, wipe my tears and start shopping for the next one.

Oddly, when we are going to sell something, we clean it up real spiffy way beyond our own needs for adequate, we stand back and take a look and think to ourselves: Hey, this is one fine looking machine. Why am I selling it? A good argument to keep the machine well maintained and spiffy while we have it and maybe thereby enjoy it more.

I suspect this boat owner got thinking from the posts he may have seen here that his asking price was too low. I'm betting it will be re-posted some time from now with a higher starting price.
