ok I missed the pun. when I saw the link I thought we were talking about real spam. What happened last night??

Some spammer created a fake account and responded to like 46 random old threads, with the same nonsensical list of links which I did not attempt to click on. They have all since been deleted and things are back to normal on the "recent topics" list on right. Thanks Tyboo Mike!

I don't what you call them, but those little rice things wrapped with Spam are awesome! I bought a few from the Shoppette while at Schofield Barracks, and if they're good at a place like that, they gotta be super good from a native Hawaiian.

Correct, Peter. Spam musubi. Easily made with the proper jig (see link). I kid you not. The trick to good musubi is to pan fry the spam in either honey or maple syrup, then make the musubi. The sugars caramelize and when combined with the salty ocean flavor of the nori (seaweed wrap) balanced with the rice, you get heaven in a small package. 8) They are everywhere in Hawai'i and anyone who grew up there ate them all their lives. It's our version of a bologna sandwich.
