Marc Grove at Wefings is a great guy

I had a question about a boat that Wefings had sold twice and Marc took time from a very busy schedule to answer is some detail. If this is a sign of how they handle all their business, Wefings is a great place to buy or sell a boat. Thanks Marc, a big "shout out" to you.

Marc is a Great source of Boat info and runs a Great Business . He is a major contributor to the C brat site . If one is in the market for any of his boat lines Please give Marc a call .

Marc got me a Dr Bob TC255 Float-On clone EOH trailer and arranged to have it delivered, exchange out my EZloader, and sell it on consignment all in one day on our way back from a Sarasota Moorings adventure.
If it can be done, he can do it.
If it can't be done, he won't lie about that.
He knows his boats and his markets.
He'll offer the best deal the first time.
Give your boat buying business to Marc and you'll be glad you did!

I had a chance to talk to Marc, long time ago, so the details are foggy, but it was a boat question. I told him I was calling from Washington State, and yet he took time to answer my questions, and even invited me down for some oysters sometime.

Marc is a straight up guy who deals in truth and gets things done.

A real plus in the boating community and a gem in D-Dory-dom.

Someday I hope to get to meet in person.

I never got details or a return phone call.
But, heck, stuff happens. No problemo.

And now my 26 Venture is in Florida for a while and,
Marc, I could have a deal for you...

Aye.

We have bought two new boats both sight unseen in person. Just internet pictures and smoking deals. Everything he said about both of them came true. He is a busy guy. He sold the first boat I bought from him before I could get it down to him on a consignment deal. He will sell my current boat when I downsize to a smaller fishing boat. Plus there is plenty of good eating in Apalachicola even if you don't like oysters. He is 1100 miles from my home. The guy has got to be doing something right.

I'll jump in too. Im from Massachusetts and called Marc a few days ago regarding my prop setup on my 25. He was great and pointed me in the right direction.

Over the summer I spoke to him when I was in the market for a used 25. He helped me a lot then too. I wouldve happily bought a boat from him (even with the long distance) but I got lucky with a local 25 that fell into my lap.

The best thing we can do for the brand and for Marc is to give his info/Wefings website to anyone interested in buying/ selling/trading a C Dory. Ive already told several guys from Boston about Wefings and told them not to worry about the distance. It'll all work out! Lol

Yes, well, we don't want to give Marc a big head now, do we? :-) But yes, a guy who makes his own charcuterie and like Snoqualmie beer must be a pretty good guy!
