Marine Decraguard

I am not 100% sure that 1/2 or 3/4 inch marine plywood is used for the bulkheads or the cabinetry. I have cut and pre-installed 3/4 inch marine plywood for the interior port bulkhead and top. This marine plywood weighs a ton, the boat would be listing to the Port side.I think just good quality pressure treated plywood is used with that degraguard skin. The difference is weight between the two is too great. I am going to use a good quality pressure treated plywood....any thoughts on this. Thanks Remi

Just use the good quality lighter exterior grade plywood and seal it well and you'll be fine! It's on the interior of the boat, not out on the transom, etc. The plastic facia will add a lot of water resistance on the surfaces, too.

Thanks...thats what i should of done in the first place....a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 inch marine plywood costs $ 180.22 here. I can always use it down the road sometime. Remi

It has been a month negotiating a deal for the Decraguard but it is done and I have some extra sheets I can sell to any C-Brat that wants a sheet or half a sheet. My cost is $105.00 a sheet and that is what your cost will be if you pick it up. If you want a half sheet, I will charge a $10.00 cutting fee so your cost will be $62.50. You can pick it up at our warehouse in Olympia or at Tern Boat Salvage in Kent WA, the old C-Dory plant when the Toland family was building the C-Dory. This deal is ONLY for C-Brat members.

What I have ordered is the ¾ inch white Decraguard, finished on both sides. It will be the end of next week or early the following week before it is delivered to us.

Once we start production of our boat, we will have odds & ends from time to time that we will sell also, but that will be a few months down the road.

If anybody wants some let me know. Right now, I can get as many sheets as I want at this price but I can’t guarantee the price in the future.
