BBQ and Jazz in Issaquah? It's a cosmic convergence of Brat eating estabishment recommendations and musical excellence. Read on...

I'm planning to get some 'que about 6-6:30 PM on Saturday 6/14 at Stan's BBQ (58 Front Street N), which appears to be very close(*) to the place where our own Peter Jamero and his band are playing 7:30-11:30, Vino Bella Wine & Expresso Bar (99 Front Street N).

Hope to see you there!

Great idea Warren! If I'm done setting up by 6:00pm, I'll head down for some BBQ. I'm looking forward to seeing you and hopefully other C-Brats on Saturday! :thup

Wish I could get there Warren. But I'll be down on the Cowlitz tomorrow chasing the elusive Summer Steelhead.

Have a Cowboy for me. :) I stopped on my way home last night and picked up some ribs for my wife and a Cowboy for me (I do this at LEAST once a week it seems).

I went out with a guide on the Cowlitz last year and got skunked. Hope you do better!

As for the Cowboy at Stan's, this will be my first visit to Issaquah, let alone Stan's, so it is all new to me! Looking forward to it all...

Warren,

I went with Phil Stephens of Mystical Legends Guide Service. Phil is a great guy and a great guide. I highly recommend him if you are wanting to get into some fish on the Cowlitz (or anywhere else he fishes).

We had a bit of a slow morning only catching 2 fish before noon. Then after lunch we moved downriver a little bit and got into 4 more. At the end of the day my son had caught his first 2 steelhead, my friend Mike got 3 and I got 1. Pretty good day overall. We got them all on divers w/bait.
