Where abouts, Riverrat? My folks live up there as well - small town called Outing, near Emily/Crosby, not too far from Brainerd. One of these days, I'll be heading out there with boat in tow...
 
We are in Pengilly, right where US65 hits US169 halfway between Rapids & Hibbing. Work in the mines of course.

We sure enjoyed cruising up in your Voyageurs National Park and along your Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers -- marvelous water. Although, we must admit, right about now we prefer a locale a little farther south.
