Mobile Canvas near Portland

I am looking to have some carpet measured, cut and bound but don't have access to bring my boat to a shop right now. Does anyone know of a shop/person that does that near Portland, Oregon? I'd like to update the upholstery and curtains too but would like to start with the flooring.

Thanks.

I have yet to find a mobile shop. However due to a recommendation from John F I have sought out Corinthian Carpet in Portland. I have ordered several samples of their carpet and will be reporting back. Seems like some top quality product and work. Something about
Adding nice carpet to a cruiser. I like walking around my cabin in slippers or bare feet. I will be reporting back soon.

I have thousands of feet of feet of edge binding done every year on commercial carpet jobs. Not costly, we use the scarps for base and have the top edge bound. I suggest you make a template from heavy paper such as Rosin Paper (it is red and sold at Home Depot" or use thin cardboard and then have the carpet supplier cut and edge bind. If you buy the good glue down commercial carpet it will lay down and stay flat with little or not curl. Snaps are a bad idea but you could use 2" wide velcro. I would have two sets made and have the spare ready to go!

I have purchased from Corinthian in the past. They make the carpets for Ranger Tug...I bought carpets for my 21EC. They make a VERY NICE product - in my experience. Their carpets are designed with a heavy backing so they lay flat. Maintenance is easy - just take them outside and hose them off when they get dirty.

They use a process like BobJarrard describes. That is, making a careful template which Corinthian will then "process" and submit back to you via email for approval, then they make your carpets. Definitely pay the extra few dollars for the UV resistent thread.
