more shrimp

Who's going? I'm going. I'll be in the Reelsalty, a Hewescraft Ocean Pro, with 4 friends. I have not shrimped this far north before so it will be new territory for me. Probably be north of the Mukilteo ferry.

If anyone has better suggestions, I will listen.

Go luck to all.

I heard rumor they may open MA 12 for another day after reviewing catch estimates. I know there are still a lot of shrimp out there. We got our two limits in the first pot today, and then paid forward another three limits after that. We've noticed the shrimp we're finding are really big this year.

Decided not to go and ended up getting volun-told to go tow a broken down boat back to everet. Friend wanted me aboard his boat to help with the tow. he had never down one. Water was dead flat. I ended up fixing the boat and getting it started. No tow needed. It had quite running. no gas to the carbs but half a tank of fuel. 5.7 liter v8 with a spin off filter. We were going to just put a new filter on but could not get the old one off at all. I decided to check the inline built in screen on the carb first. took it off and it was clean. Hit the started while it was off for a second and we got fuel??? put it back together and engine started right up and ran great back to port. I am thinking air lock in the fuel system. Something in the tank clogged the pick up, sucked the line dry, one way valve in the filter locked up because of the suction would not allow the debry to clear the pick up. Opening the line allowed it to clear and off we go. Can anyone thin of any thing else I maybe over looking??

it would be great if ma12 got another day. good seeing you again Rick and thanks for the "help" may have put the season recap in the fishing forum up a little too early.
