Does anybody know what the switches do on the outside of the cabin just under the roof overhang. There on both the port and starboard side at the back of the cabin. I will try to add a couple of pics. I follow the wires and then they disappear into a large group and I am lost from there. I really wish you could just drag and drop or add photos easier to this ancient website. Ugh.

Sounds to me like they were used for cockpit lighting at one time.

Almost certainly they were for cockpit lighting. My boat had strings of small lights run under the cockpit gunnels. The switches allowed you to turn the cockpit lights on when boarding the boat at night. I have to say, I rarely used them, but they did provide a nice low light for the cockpit sole.

Thanks. I will go do a little poking around. I have only messed with them during the day so I may have missed them coming on(if they exist). Thanks[file:///C:/Users/Larsen/Desktop/Cape%20Cruiser/0226211345.jpg][/img]

Yep. Thanks for the direction. Some dead tube lighting up under the gunwale. Have a great day and Go Zags!!!
