A ways east of Astoria today I saw a unique looking C-Dory for sale. The sign on it said it was a 1986 22' Work Skiff. The HIN had it as a 21', but then I believe the CD 16s are identified as 15' in the HIN, so this hull might be just shy of, but still considered, 22'.
Neat looking fish boat. It had a short and narrow cabin, with two front windows, and one window on each side. No rear bulkhead - just a drop curtain. The V-berth was pretty much CD standard (with cushions), but the cabin was about the size of a 16' Angler. It had fairly wide (10" or so) walk arounds to the foredeck on both sides. Flat bottom almost the full length with a short V entry. The cockpit is huge! Six people fishing, no problem.
There is no motor with it, but the controls are there. The trailer was an older painted job.
The guy is asking $7000 for it the way she sits. I will give him a call and see if he wants us to list it in the ads, and maybe get some history on it. If I ever remember to take a camera along, maybe I can snap some pictures of it on the way home from work next week.
Did I mention the cockpit was huge?
