Hey everyone,
At long last, the construction of Dock Holiday has begun!
I took a tour of NMI last week just as they were spraying our hull. I will post updates as they become available!

Great to see/hear this. It's good news, both for you and for NMI, that they are producing C-Dory boats.

Congratulations on your new C-Dory. Any chance you will make it to the Friday Harbor gathering in May? Many of us would love to see that new 2022 Venture.

I wonder if the factory would be willing to post build pictures like they did on a 23 Venture last year. It would be fun to see it all come together.
 
Howard, Thanks for posting the pix. Are they giving you any descriptions with them, or are these the ones you took while there? I looks like it is goingf to be puuurrdy 8)

And Thanks again to Patrick for half a day on FaceBlok. This is the first time I have had a link that actually let me see what is there. L O T S and some fun stuff. Now I know what Julies spends her time doing -- I think. Anyway. Found some great pix and some interesting notes. Have to admit that it still bothers me that they (NMI) mess with the trademark Stripe patterns.

Looks great! So this is not the typical hull color--is that something that they do for Ventures, but not so much on Cruisers? Seems to me that the only other time I've seen a fully colored hull it's been a dark blue Venture. I was curious, what is the time frame from when you put in the order for the boat until this point? I would guess this stage is still a couple of months to delivery time? Love these posts.
 
WOW, is that different. I was thinking that it was still some leftover something, release or .?.?.? from the mold that needed to come off yet. If that is the new full color, it is different.

They are moving it one step closer to the finish line.

Ordered in May of 2021. They will build whatever you like! I’m thinking end of April. Mercury Marine looks to be the hold up at this point. I might have to go Suzuki.

I ordered from Master Marine in Mt. Vernon. Marty Smith is my salesman! He’s fantastic to work with and he’s a C Dory owner as well!

Price?…more than my first house! :shock:
