We traded HunkY Dory , a 2006 22 C-Dory Cruiser in. We and the bank are now the proud owners of a 2007 25 ft C-Dory Cruiser. The name is Delfin. We are thinking about changing the name to Wifes Toy. On the way to Mobile East Marine, We ran into fog for most of the way on HWY 17 South. We did sign the papers on friday 4 may. We dropped Delfin off at Vineings Landing Marina. We will keep it in dry storage. will post pictures soon :)

Congratulations on your new toy. I hope you'll enjoy that thing as much as I enjoy Journey On. I think that boat is the best thing to explore the Chesapeake as well as the ICW. It's got a head to keep your wife happy, it's got shallow draft and it's happy slow or fast. Get a cheap air conditioner to keep the cabin cool in the summer and you're in heaven. Don't pull the fridge out, that's what keeps the beer cool.

You're all set for the docks at Annapolis, the run up the James Rive and Great Dismal Swamp, you're in the right place for that boat.

Enjoy! We looked at -- and thought about -- Delfin before we bought the former Sara Lynn II (a 2006 CD 25). It was a tough decision to make; both are dandy boats.

I'm delighted to see Delfin go to a good home. :D

Neal,
Congratulations on the new boat. Boy, I'd also like to have a 25, but... well too many buts.
Please consider taking the new boat on a shakedown cruise with the Brats on the ICW mini-loop trip on the 18th. An easy and peaceful cruise opportunity.

The Delfin does have a refrigarator, water heater,6 gal. A built in a/c and an on board battery charger, and an inverter. We will try to do some local cruising once we are able to get the USCG stuff and after we get new carpet in the house. It is powered by a HONDA 150 hp V-6 also a 2007. :)

Neal,
You are welcome to tie up to my floating dock if you decide on local cruising. This will put you right next to Waterside in Norfolk and allow you to do an easy over-nighter without worrying about anchoring out in a harbor.
