Well, I'm looking at my driveway where the 22' cruiser sits. Just bought it (used) and I expect I'll need to communicate with fellow owners. I've always run metal boats, almars, lunds, etc. and always for work. So, i wonder who has time to advise a first time owner of a glass boat?

Congratulations! I bought mine last summer after a string of wooden boats, and spent all fall and winter getting her back into fighting shape. Now she's in her slip and I'm thrilled with her.

As a new guy myself I can tell you that the experience on this site and the generosity of knowledge of the members is remarkable. Great resource.

Welcome aboard.

Generally questions are placed on the general or problem specific forums. That way there is learning for all. Even what seems like a basic question often is something that folks have different opinions, and may be a learning opportunity for all.

Good to have you two new guys on board. Stay tuned, there's a wealth of information about C-Dory's and much else on this great site.

Welcome! The best thing you can do is go to a CBGT (C-Brat Get Together), and as it happens, we have one coming up in Friday Harbor in a few days! See Event Signups. If you are free, you should really attend! Not only will you learn what you want, you will meet the best folks anywhere who share a common interest in our fantastic boats!

But don't head over to Friday Harbor tomorrow - gale warnings! Wait until Friday! And get in the habit of checking the NOAA Coastal Waters Forecast!
