We own 2 sailboats , both are for sale , and are looking to buy a C-Dory 25. After weeks of internet research & looking at all the great photos posted, we have yet to actually see one "live"..
We are currently in Mx getting ready to put our 38ft Folkes steel cutter sailboat up in dry storage by the end of March & will then be driving home to Big Sur, Ca. Anyone out there in southern Ca with a 25 that would like to show us? We usually drive up the coast from LA, and stop in Marina Del Rey at my daughter's boat & in Channel Islands marina area at my sister's house . Any takers ?? Would love to hear from you & see your boat ... Thank you ⛵️ Dana

I suspect that several C Brats will chime in. You might want to contact Boris, "journey On" also a long distance sailor, who has his boat inland from Oceanside. Also you can isolate the C Dory 25's on the Member's list, and then contact those who seem to be in route. Finally there is the C Brat map, which shows the C Dory 25 locations. Not sure how up to date they area.

But..there are a lot of ex cruising sailors on this list. It is the VW of trailerable sailboats, and a lot of us have been involved in the long distance sailing world before the C Dory!

Thank you Thataway for responding . I will look into your suggestions though it may take me a bit to figure this website out I have sailed almost 30 years on the East coast from Maine thru out the Bahamas, and running a charter sailboat out of Pennekamp State Park for 10 of those years, & living in the Florida Keys 25 years. We hope to get back there with a C-Dory at some point , but our first trip may very well be back here to the Sea of Cortez where we have spent the last 4 winters on our cruising sailboat. Again thanks for the hints & say hello to Florida for me. Dana ⛵

I can't satisfy the SoCal preference, but if you want to come up from Big Sur to Berkeley, I'd be happy to show you Tessa, a 2006 25' Cruiser with twin 90's
