The second compass question (What is the best type of compass for a C Dory?) has been posted under the Library section "Electronics". I will be posting a different question each week. A list of the questions is posted on the General Chat board under "Compass Questions" The question of the week will be posted every Thursday and all will be in the Electronics post board.

The question for next week will be "How do I install my own compass?"

The TugNuts could use your help too, although their more serious problems of the temperature of their wine coolers seems to trump navigational issues. :roll:

Having watched my IPhone cause my compass to swing 20 degrees when I laid it down close by, makes me suggest the topic, "Things you shouldn't do to your compass."
 
Tom, Good point -- this type of thing drives compass adjusters to pull their hair out. Probably accounts for why I have so little left! :(

We will cover these types of disturbances under the topic "How to adjust your own compass" which will be in two weeks. Thanks for contributing. Bob W :D
