Yep for sure David!!
Well we finally got the new Laurna Jo in the water Monday April 11, and had a successful sea trial. The 135 started right up andsettled down, even though it was only about 40 degrees out. We started the break-in period and just enjoyed the ride!! Loading her back up on the King was a breeze... if we can duplicate that most of the time, it will be added pleasure for sure.. "no drama" launching and loading works for us to be sure.
Next order of business before finishing the rigging is that the new Laurna Jo will be the Official Marine Parade Boat of the Tacoma Outboard Association for the Tacoma Daffodil Festival this coming weekend. We will be judged along with dozens of other "floats" . And there expected to be over 8,000 linear of feet of Boats participating in the parade Sunday the 17th. More later, info at the Daffodil page of the Tacoma Yacht Club's Homepage..
