Picked our 2008 Cruiser 25 on Wednesday in New Bern, NC and took her out for the first time today. We live on Oak Island (you know, the place with the shark attacks last week) Boy oh boy, this is so much fun, and we still have our limbs attached!

I would like to thank the former owners, the Seymours, for having fitted out this beauty so nicely.

I know it's supposed to be bad luck, but we are changing the name. The former "River Dancer" is heretofore "Here & Now"

Life is good!

Congratulations on having picked the cream of the crop f the C-Dory line. I hope you have as much fun with yours as we have had on Journey On.

Welcome aboard--stay out of the water. Those sharks can hit anywhere. We had a few attacks back several years ago at Pensacola Beach, It raised people's awareness. The Sharks are always there, some times not seen, and cruise a wide territory.

You have a rest boat--and many new adventures await you. Plus you have joined one of the greatest boating extended families in the World!

Thanks Bob, but we live at the beach, actually around 200 yards from where the first attack was, and we swim there every day. Haven't been in the water since, but I'll play the odds and keep enjoying it!

The boat though, is a dream I've had for 40 years. We are ecstatic!

Thanks Fellas,
We retired here from San Francoco to here 1-1/2 years ago. Not to sound too Californian, but this place is awesome! So many places to take our new baby
