Crescent Lake. Anyone who wants can take my turn, 'cause it's not fair 'cause I knew the answer.

Brock, Which Crescent Lake? Kenai? Wa? Or?

Don & Dee, it is Cresent Lake in the Olympic National Park. The picture was taken on a February morning.

OK, since Brock abdicated his rightful position, here's an easy one to start the morning...

Anyone recognize this place at Lake Powell?

Jim, Looks like Lake Powell. No idea which end however.

You got it, Roger - the next one is yours.

Best wishes,
Jim

OK cruisers, here's a new one.

Our friend Larry is correct! I confirmed the location on Google Earth and Lund is on our list of places to visit this summer! It looks like there are several restaurants and Lund looks to be very quaint. What do Brats have to say about the attributes of Lund?

I think the word for Lund is "eclectic".

It's a long way from nowhere by road and when you get there you can see it all in a few minutes. Good sticky buns. Food in Hotel restaurant not too good. There was a new restaurant opening across the harbor while we were there but we had no chance to test it.
If you want to buy the most expensive woolly sweater in the world you can do that too.

Interesting split level ramp in harbor.

You have to see it, once.

Right on Larry! Funky, Eclectic Lund it is. Rafting 3 deep is mandatory! Interesting place to visit, once as Merv said. Roger

Where is this location and what is in the red floating building?

Hint: North of the 48th parallel and research will find the answer.

Larry H

Larry,

It's Point Baker. The building has a fire boat, community hall and a Post Office.
