We have a 1999 C-Dory 22 Cruiser. It has the black plastic arrow-shaped ends. However, one is missing, and we would like to replace them with the stainless caps on the more modern (post 2008) C-Dorys. Has anyone done this? Will they fit? Where can you purchase them?

See if Taco Marine has anything that works for you.

Thanks, we checked them out, but it's hard to know what may fit the existing rail. I talked to someone there about it. Just wondering if anyone has already done this.

My boat had the rubrail swoop down near the transom along the hull and deck joint causing water to spray around and not looking super nice. I ended up cutting the rubrail back so it ends in a straighter way (which involved a bunch of fairing work to blend the hull and deck further aft) I found myself in a similar predicament of trying to source a decent end piece for the rubrail. I couldn't find anything and ended up just 3D printing my own that slots into the aluminum track and also accepts the rubber/plastic strip, creating an overlap. If you think your rail is the same (see the traced image of the aluminum part) I can try to dig up that file and share it.
