Last week we brought home our new (to us) 16 ft cruiser. Some may know it as Sparkle Plenty from Anacortes. He is now "Wilbur" from Everett. We are busy cleaning and general "bonding" with each other. Maiden voyage is set for this Wednesday. Just a couple hours of cruising around lake Washington. Weather should be nice.

Welcome! Enjoy your new boat. Those who have 16's are the most fanatical Brats of all. Friday Harbor is May 16-17-18. Launching from Cornet Bay, Anacortes or Bellingham makes it easy and you would almost surely find other Brats to convoy with for your first big trip. Come to FH by ferry if not by boat, we have a good time.

Congratulations Wilbur! We had a 16 for a short while, they are neat boats. And welcome to the Brats!
I'm a 16 and I am passionate about my boat you'll love the way it handels. If you do not have trim tabs get them if you have them learn how to use them they are magic. Rough water shove the bow down in the water speed 10 to 12 and the boat will just cut threw the chop.

It has been a very busy few months. Lots of salmon have ended up in Wilbur. We fish out of Everett. Spend a lot of time around the Possession Bar.
Looks like I am upgrading a very tired 50 HP Johnson for o new 4 stroke.
