When it tells us where the fish are we need to worry.

It looks like the experiment did not work because the page can no longer be displayed.

Dave,
Must have been temporary as it works fine this morning.

BTW How is you "enhanced" boat doing ? Did it all work out as youexpected ?

Merv

Merv - doesn't work for me either - I get a gray-green blank screen and a magnifying glass cursor. Might be a Mac thing, I will try it with Windoze...

Pat,

On Windoze you get a screen telling you that increasing your browser size (guess it does matter !!) will enhnace your experience. ???)
You need to hit the little green (not purple) box that says "continue". Same again on the next page.

Also when you do get to the graphics, there are some things that are a little difficult to navigate but that is to be expected with a beta site.

Hope you can get it to work. I just checked again and got in with no problem.

Merv

That was great !!! I really loved the site. you can get everything at once in one place. you can even do some trip planning. the only thing I did not see was depth lines which would be great for us fisherman

Works fine for me with Camino (from Mozilla) and Safari. Did you scroll down to the button you have to click to start?

Merv – it is working for me now. Must have been a temporary thing. Looks like the site has potential.

My boat is in getting a new camper back top made and installed. I will post updates to my boat on another thread later on today.

And it is now working for me with Firefox on the iMac - will go back and see if it works on the MacBook, tried it twice today and it did not...strange.

Glad to hear it's working for most of you now.

I have discovered some fun tools in there.
For example if you maximise the graphic window and select the parameter you want such as tide, you can do a loop of the tides for the next "n" days. Pity it won't do it for the wind !!

Great fun to set up current and watch Admiralty inlet for a coupe of weeks. Easy to see why it gets snotty in a hurry.

For planning you can select the place, date and time +/- a few hours and get a great visual feel of what you window is for any spot.

Even stranger, BIS works fine on the MacBook under Safari but refuses to load under Firefox...must be some setting on Firefox on the MacBook, very strange...this is a COOL site though!
