New Windlass, old rode question

I am planning to add a Lewmar 700h windlass and currently have 240’ of 1/2” 3 plait twisted rode and 40’ of 1/4 chain. It appears the rode setup should work with this windlass and I am wondering if anyone can confirm that or have had to use a different rode to make this work well.

We have the same windlass and use the same 1/2 inch three strand and 1/4 inch chain and it works great.
