There are a lot more C-DORY's on the water than Ospreys especially up north.
I hope to get ideas on repairs and up grades from your site. I love to read about and see pictures of other pilot house style boats.
I hope I will be welcome at your site and hopefully will be able to contribute to the forums

Anyone with a boat is welcome Steve. We've got several "ospry's" here, in name only, they're all C-Dorys. Lots of good ideas here, lots of folks out your way too.

Anyway, looks like you've got a real fishing machine there, will be glad to see more from you on the site!

Kinda looks like a C-Dory on Steroids....

I currently have three to four footitis and the Ospreys are one boat I am considering. I would love to hear everything that you have to say about yours, things to look out for, options you wish you had bought, options you wish you had not etc.

Steve, I'm just up the road from you in Shingletown, Ca. just about 20 miles east of Redding. Welcome to the site and you will have to let me know where the big salmon are down there.

Welcome and nice boat. Were out side Sac of tomato are you. I am pretty sure the rest of the world is out side sac, and better for it to. We once lived in Placerville but moved 9 years ago to a better fish friendly climate.

Looks from the out riggers you are a tuna chaser??

Steve,

Welcome and enjoy. Some of us fish, some of us cruise, and all of us boat. Ospry is one of the first power boats I looked at. Great boat but it didn't come with one of those Outboard things hanging on the back. Of course, neither does SleepyC -- It has 2 of those outboard thingies hanging on the back.

Hope to get to see you on the water some day.

Steve, all of the rest of the fishaholics/boataholics say "Hi Steve". This isn't a 12 step program, more like an enabling group, but we are happy, and happy to have you aboard.

There is a thread in one of the forums about uploading photos. I will see if I can find it and send you a link. If you're on a Mac, Safari has issues with uploading, so most of us use Firefox.

Welcome to the group of benign crazy people!

Hello Steve

Your boat is a real bird of prey thats for sure. I've seen a few out and about and they are no doubt serious fishing machines. Love the large cockpit. What kind of range do you have with that thing? Anyway welcome, i'm sure you will get alot of helpful tips and ideas from the large variety of existing forums and informed members.
