Couple questions. Any good references for the north Seattle area for a marine surveyor to give a 22' C-Dory a look and what a rough cost would be? Have never had a survey done and I am considering it for the purchase of an '06.

I purchased a 2006 22' cruiser in Sept. 2020. I used Tom Averna, Orcas Island Marine Surveyors, 360-376-2770. He was detailed, competent and easy to work with. Prior to my finding the boat I purchased, I was looking at a boat north of Seattle. I talked with Jerry Edwards, North Beach Marine Surveyors, 206-719-2427. I never had Jerry do the survey as the boat was purchased before I could send a deposit. I liked what Jerry had to say and would have used him.

It's been several years since we used him on our Nordic 26 purchase, but Matt Harris came highly recommended by both buyers and sellers when we were looking. Incredibly thorough, great communication and reasonably priced.

We purchased a CC 23 in October 2020 and used Wayne Gilham and Garrett Polehonka of Flow Design Inc.

They were very knowledgeable of the C-Dory/CC line of boats and did a great job.
 
Love this place. Thanks for all the replies. The boat is in awesome shape and I am sure that it will pass inspection. Will keep you all posted.
