I mailed my gift a few days ago, hope it gets there OK. Had to do some undercover work to find out the identity of my recipient, fortunately the towns in the midwest are small with not very many brats!

I also got one in the mail yesterday....It was a very nice gift, a re-gift actually, but new and unused and very appropriate for a boater. Would my Secret Santa like to have the birthday cards back that he left in it? I'd hate for Roger and Janet, Bob and "Hoodie Mama" to know he gave their birthday present away! :xlol :xlol

Obviously we need more work at this event, but seriously, thanks for the gift, I'll post pictures after the regular thread reopens...

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be too tough to figure out one's recipient.

For me, it was even easier. Since I had to make up the list, and wanted to play along, I obviously saw who mine was going to and where mine was coming from. Y'all will just have to take my word for it...I used a mathematical formula to match things up - I didn't cherry pick the richest C-Brat for my giver. :xnaughty

Next year, we'll need a neutral, non-participating 3rd party to organize. Maybe we should get the Real Santa involved.

Yes, maybe someone we know that has a beard that is getting whiter, and whiter and whiter, as time goes by.

Just playing Devil's Advocate here, but why is it so important to keep the recipient (and/or the giver) a secret? Unless you are encouraging outrageous gifts that should remain anonymous! I think it would make it a lot easier and maybe just as much fun to do an un-secret Santa next year.

Maybe just keep the same gifts circulating?? :xnaughty
