I am working on that list now and a manual with a wiring schematic for the boat. (Red emphasis mine- Joe)

That's a refreshing change. A manual before the boat goes into production, not after its been in production for a few years, through many changes, and almost impossible to do because of all the differences that already exist in boats produced!

I can get behind an manufacturer who does things like that!

Dave, The boat is really coming together nicely. It is a very well thought out design, with top notch fit and finnish. Thanks for all of the build photos. Impressive.

Really looking forward to seeing the boat in person.

Greg – there will be a swim platform on the stern with ladder. The kicker engine will be mounted on a bracket on the stern. We kept the engine well small so there would be ample room on both sides of it for bait wells, auxiliary fuel tanks, large coolers or other large bulky items.

I will be updating our site later this week with the latest info and photos.

Thanks for the reply! Will the kicker be able to link to the main for helm steering?

Greg – The answer is yes, however the connecting linkage may have to be custom made and the type of main engine and kicker will have an effect on it. We will put a 90hp Honda on our demo boat and eventually a 9.9hp Honda kicker. When we do that, we will design a connecting linkage for the two engines.

I stopped by the shop yesterday to check out the progress on the boat and to see it for the first time in person. Both Ben and Dave were hard at work at late minute details. This boat is not going out the door until it is done, and done right!
The boat is incredible! The design, the fit and finish, the detail work, it is all very impressive. I can hardly wait to see it on the water and to take a ride. It won't be long now.

I love the tri color with the deep blue & red, really sharp. Hopefully that will be a color option.

Whats the latest ~ in the water yet ? When do you expect to be ramping up production - first boats available ?

Dave,

I see you are signed up for the Sequim Bay CBGT. Are you coming up on the water? Or launching up here?

Harvey – I will be trailering the boat there. Time seems to be something I don’t have much of lately.

thealaskan – just about any color combination a person wants is available.

Allan – thanks for the complement.

Big Mac and others – right now I have some final adjustments to make and equipment to install on the boat. Then I want to get photos and videos of the boat for our web site. I did update the home page with the latest information, but will not make further changes to the site until I have the videos and photos.

We are ready to take orders for the boat.

It has been a long frustrating experience but now I am ready to produce boats. Thanks for your patience with me.

Nice looking boat - I am guessing the $42,900 does not include motor and trailer.

nickyn – that is correct. It is the price of what we call the standard boat as listed on our web site. For the real boat enthusiast that wants to do a lot of his own interior layout/build that price can be reduced to around $37,000, maybe less. And that depends on how much he wants to be involved in the build process.

Hello Dave, good to hear of your progress, I will come up for a tour of the boat when things settle down a bit for you. I stopped by Tom's Outboard when they were installing the motor and took a quick peek. It looks very nice. Talk to you soon. Good luck with the final details, Big Mac

Bruce – right now things are a little hectic but a little after the Sequim CBGT, hopefully it will settle down a bit. Call me a day or so in advance before you come here and let’s try and do lunch together. Then maybe take the boat out for a little test run.
