OFFICIAL SURVEY REQUEST

Nobody is giving up the place. It's just might be time to let someone else run it for a while. If everybody wants to have a poll to see who partakes of something I would not allow in my house, far be it from me to say you cannot. You're just going to ask someone else to set up the survey. But the last thing I do before I give up the reins will be to kick out anyone who puts another dick joke in a place where my grandchildren are likely to read it.

This has always been like my living room, and when things get said in here that I would not like to hear in my living room I cringe a little. The sign above the door does indeed say "No Rules", but I have always considered respect for one's living room to be more of a promise than a rule.

OK Mike and any one else that is unhappy with this thread. I am the one who started it. Trust me...for the dust it has stirred up I am sorry. Please note that just after Mike expressed his thoughts on it...in less than 2 hours after I unfortunately started it...@ 12:44am I indicated it was fine with me if it were removed. I would have myself if I knew how...and it may be possible, I simply do not know how. I have enjoyed this site, as well as the one prior to this site that I feel was mismanaged. To the point just segments of what an individual posted would end up on the site but not the entire entry. That would change the entire meaning of a message. We have a very, very diverse user/participant base on this site. None of us are going to agree all the time. This site is for me and others who enjoy a pretty neat line of boats to enjoy ourselves on and have fun...but not at the expense of torquing someone else's day... or at least that is how I feel. I have made several gatherings pretty much all over the country due to being a member of this group. Have worked pretty hard helping put gatherings together in the north, south, east and west. Have enjoyed them all and still have more to attend. Have had around 6-8 boats of C-Brats in our home even on Thanksgiving before...just having fun with folks from this site. Now, lets get back to having fun, helping each other out with our enjoyment of our boats and move on. I will not respond on either of these two similar links again and I have enjoyed the PMs which is where I should have left it in the first place. Thats the best I can do folks. what I thought was internet adult back and forth. So, no offense intended for

I myself do not think that this sight should be a free for all , some things should not be brought up , I would not say or write anything that I could not or would not talk about in front of a mixed crowd ...... I also do not see the harm in a open discussion about the use of pot ,weed , ect...... If it is offensive to some one " don't read it ". I also don't think anyone should judge someone who does get involved in said discussion . As I said something's do not belong vulgarity , racial humor , ect. those kinds of things are not usually discussed in a mixed crowd . I think that the important part of what I wrote before was " BE NICE " ...... I also think that both Tyboo and Da Nag do a fine job with this sight , and want to say what we all should be thinking , thank you , thank you both . And keep up the good job that you do . Larry
