I am following teambrazo, should be fun when he is on the Trent Severn.

Hey, Time Magazine says this is "changing the way we live" - who am I to argue?

Next up - Bill could have twitter.com/halcyon - NOT! (Describe Lake Powell in 140 characters or less!)

I tweet . wefingsboats
On my front page of the wefings site
I think of it as a mini blog haiku.
I follow teambrazo,Tyboo Mike,C Dorylover and a few others .
Marc
PS
It would be appropriate if Byrdman tweeted , but 140 characters just aint enough..............

I tried to get "Comfortably Numb" on Twitter, but struck out there. Already taken. Had to settle on "CDoryLover". Marc Grove is much better keeping up to date on Twitter than me. Although it seems self-indulgent (who really cares what I am doing?), I like being aware of the whole concept so I can talk to my kids about what is going on in the world they are living in. My daughter's sorority sister's brother (what did I just say?) was one of the co-founders...at least, that's the story I am buying into at this point. The main thing is, I can stick another picture of The Comfortably Numb out there on the World Wide Web.

After working as a migrant laborer for 30 years in Europe & Asia we retired to S.E. Texas, centered on the kids/grandkids. After living for a while away from all of the friends we made - and lost track of - over the years SHE signed up on Facebook. Within weeks SHE has re-established contact with MANY people from the past - all over the world. Some were casual friends, some we were closer to, a kid that lived down the street from us in 1977 and was our son's best friend has re-connected, a Norwegian girlfriend of one of our friends has re-connected, along with many more. This internet "stuff", done correctly, is good "stuff".

Statistic show most folks tweet around 60-90 days and lose interest . I got about a month to go . But really, I also do it because its there, and quick and fun . I feel a lot of pressure to be interesting . Both in my blog and my tweets [I cant believe I am saying that]. And then there is our newsletter . Hardly leaves time to sell boats or go boating, diving, fishing, or mow the lawn .
Marc

Marc, I don't twitter, but I do mow the lawn, Not often enough for my neighbors  and too often for me. If I were you and had to give up one of:
"...sell boats or go boating, diving, fishing, or mow the lawn."
I would give up all the lawn  mowing. That is just too dangerous, using power equipment :? , excercise in excesive heat  , emmiting all that carbon di and mon-oxide :cigar , and cutting off all that grass which is producing oxygen :wink :wink :thup :thup .

Just my thoughts

I had to give up grass cutting because of all the dust and pollen stirred up by the mower. I would have headaches and runny nose and eyes for several days afterwards.

Thats my story and I am sticking to it.
