Osprey is changing hands!!!!

After a 20 year lust and 2 years of serious searching for a 22 cruiser, we have found the perfect boat. We would like to thank the Brats for providing the forum where her previous owner discovered that we were looking, and for generally fostering an awesome facet of society.

We also thank Mr. Aaron Campbell for taking such good care of her while she was his and for being so great to work with.

The Osprey will spend her summers in northern MN, and her winters on the Alabama gulf coast. We intend to alleviate global warming's effects of raising ocean water levels by removing enough fish to counteract it all!

It is my intention also to cease just lurking and laughing on this site and become something of a contributor. It will be difficult to shine in the midst of the talent here but we're gonna "giv'er a go eh".

All for now,
Capt. Dan

<phew> I thought from the title that Osprey _boats_ had been sold! I have one of those from the early years, before Sea Sport ownership. Congratulations on your new acquisition.

I like you already!!!

Welcome Dan,

I know your summer waters a bit and hope to visit the winter waters some day. You have a neighbor, Al, a few hundred miles to the W on Rainy Lake but he visits Superior often, check his photos in the Moose album.

We have a Brat on Isle Royale too, and have threatened a gathering in the upper midwest for a couple of years. One year we will make it happen.

There is a C-Dory dealer in Superior, WI, that gets good reviews here. Also sells some other Pacific NW boats from time to time.

Regards,

Mark
