Our C-Dorys

To open your album click on your album name which is highlighted. When you open your album there is a box on the top right "Album actions" click on the arrow by it and a drop down menu will appear click on 'add photos" a window will open. Click on "Browse" which will allow you to select the photos you want to add from your computer.

Hi there Nor'easter,

The first thing that is needed is an album. If you haven't got one, send a note to Mike or Bill, the administrators, and they will set you up with one. After that, you go to "Album Actions" and select add photos. There are a number of threads on this topic, so if needed, you can get more detailed help than what I am providing.

If you are using a Mac, Firefox seems to work better than Safari. That is, it works.

Nor'easter,

Be sure that you are 'logged in' to the site (on the front page) before you open your album.

The 'album actions' box in on the right on the next line down from your album name.

You should see a page like this (minus uploaded pictures.) Click on the "Album Actions" in the upper right, opposite the name of the album, "Lori Ann" in this case.

I'm getting a lot of good advice here guys , but still can't get in. I've logged in, gone down to where my user name shows me online, clicked on that, clicked on my photo album, it says that I am logged in as Nor'easter, but there there is just a notice saying the album is empty. The "album actions" is not there. All I can do at this point, I guess is to try and have admin look at it and see if there is something wrong. If there isn't I suppose I need some remedial computer skills training ( which would be interesting since I spend a good part of my days programming and operating modern Aircraft electronics systems).

I wonder if there is some weirdness caused by the single quote mark in your username. The album is named noreaster and my guess is that Da Nerd may not have it associated properly with your user name of nor'easter. Just a guess based on what you describe and past bad experiences with non-standard characters in user names and commands. I'm sure Da Nerd will fix it when he sees there is a problem.

The nerd didn't make the album - the dork did. It looks to be properly associated. The apostrophe was removed by the Gallery software in creating the album name and is thus missing in the listed URL displayed in the address bar. However, your supposition about the apostrophe being at the root of the problem may well be correct, although it is probably because it is part of the username. Bill is looking into it.
