Outfitting a 25 Cruiser

We recently purchased a blue 25 Cruiser with twin Honda 90's and many of the options. We dont take delivery for 4 to 6 weeks. Still working out details such as the name for our C-Dory, etc. However we are at the point of selecting electronics. We will be primarily operating out of Depoe Bay, Oregon, so will be predominantly ocean cruising and fishing. We are flirting with the Raymarine C80 electronics package available from West Marine. Any comments, pro or con, on that particular package? Other electronics that you might recommend instead of the Raymarine package? We learned a lot from this web site and it helped us to make the final decision to buy a C-Dory. You folks do a great job of communicating with one another and we look forward to becoming part of the C-Dory family.

Thanks for your input.

Welcome aboard! I am sure somebody will be able to help out with their experience - we don't have radar, just a Garmin 188C GPS chartplotter, which we like a lot.

Hi, Steve and Wendy. Congratulations for buying such a cool boat. I think you'll continue to get a lot of good ideas from the folks on this site, and that frisky Oregon contingent is a groovy bunch of smart dudes who know fishing and fun. Enjoy your new craft!
