Passenger seating in smaller C-Dory's

Assuming people with 14' or 16' C-Dory's sometimes take more than one passenger. What do most people do for the extra seating in the boat. I was thinking that fold up canvas camping chairs would work but that leaves very little space, especially in my 14'. Any ideas about smaller seats that could be secure while motoring and maybe removed when fishing or standing aft in the boat.

I had a bench seat from a Harbercraft in my 16 Angler. It was great for extra seating, and had storage under the seat cushion. But, it took up a lot of room.

What about a small cooler with a seat cushion on it?

Or - how 'bout something like one of these folding bench seats?

I like the bench seat idea. Especially the storage. I think it would take up most of the available space. I saw a pic online that had a seat that hung of the side of the boat and you simply removed it when not in use. Maybe time to make something. Thanks.

I have 2 seats for passengers that I can take in or out so that they don't get in the way when fishing. I think there is a picture in my photos.
