OK, we are shortly about to depart for C-Dancer Peter's Inn at the Market at Pike Place for a few nights to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The subject line has been our joke for years! We were obviously 12 when we got married...

This thread makes me feel good.

I first time I heard Pat and Patty's friendly banter back and forth as they were approaching the dock at an odd angle I wouldn't have expected to one day be reading about 40 years together, but shortly after getting to know them the likelihood of it was clear.

Congratulations you two!
 
Well, "the Bickersons" pretty much sums it all up! The trick is to do it without being mean or name calling. In the end it boils down to "Yes dear. I'm sorry. You're right!"

I have only been married about 1/2 that time.

One of my favorite definitions is that of true love:
Finding that one person you can aggrivate for the rest of your life.

I have found my kindred spirit. You have found yours. How wonderful! Doesn't that make life more pleasurable and simple?
