Does anyone have any pictures of how to mount two 8'Lx28"W Pelican Kayak's on the roof of a 22' C-Dory ? Raven Dancer is a High top model.
I'm thinking of racks attached to the roof rails and putting the kayak's on their edge on the racks, but I'm open to any other ideas too.

I have the same question, except with Ocean Kayaks. I have Thule J racks for the car and I'm thinking I could get some similar ones fabricated out of aluminum for the boat. I still not exactly sure how they mount would work, so if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know!
 
I've put 2 singles sea kayaks on the roof and even managed to get a double up there under the radar arch. I don't use the Thule kayak saddles but use a stainless rail mount with a 1" T welded onto it that fixes to the handrail on the roof. I run 1" stainless tubing through that with caps on either end. With kayaks I use the foam blocks over the stainless tubing. You can see pictures in my album.
 
Here's a pic of Sea Spray with his rack. Looks like you could carry two. I carry one up there from time to time, just use the foam blocks.
