Photo album problems

Love the new site--still learning my way around it--want to add some pictures to my album & can't find a way to do it. Can you help me? Thanks, WadeV :D
 
Sure, Wade - no problem. Just need a little info...

Does your photo album already exist? If so, let me know which one it is so I can configure your access to it.

If there's not one there yet, just reply with your vessel name and we'll set it up for you.

I already set Wade as the owner of Captain's Choice album. I do believe that the gentleman is the same feller that went by Bus on MSN.

But if you want to do something, figure out why Helen O's Larry can't do anything with his album. Maybe Lyle on Bess C, too. He asked to have his set, and I found he was already the owner. I've been up all night working, so maybe I missed something.

I would like to add that I am having some problems with rearangeing the photos in my album, Sunset Ride. I see no dropdown box next to the photos that would give me the option to move the picture so that photos in a series are not spread out by alphabetic order. Perhaps the album is assigned to Sunset Ride, rather than wilbe asea?

Thank you for looking into this matter, I enjoy the site more now that it is on its own rather than part of the msn thing. You guys are doing a great job and I thank you.
 
Check out the Sunset Ride album now and see if it works better. It had not been set with you as the owner. Very sorry about that.

I believe I have the same small problem that Sunset Ride had with my Chivita album. When you have a moment, can you repair? Thanks!

Yep, the Chivita album was without an owner, too. That's kinda strange, because I was certain that both you and WC had been set as the owners of your respective albums. Maybe Catman has changed things around, or something. There must be some way we can blame this on him.

Bill - whaddaya think? Can them albums revert back to being owned by 11111 all by their lonesome?
 
Thanks Mike! Sure appreciate the fast service and the site, the ideas I get from everyone here has made Chivita a heck of a lot better boat. It's kind of like what Jack Nickelson says in that movie "As good as it gets", reading and seeing what everyone has done makes me want to be a better C-Dory owner!

Too bad there isn't a site like this for new Jet Ski owners!

Thank you very much for fixing my permissions with my album, I have been there and set things aright as to how I remember they happened. Had to do it before to long, you know what they say about getting old.

I have problems but only sometimes. When I do have a problem, I usually can see the first few pages but then try to go to another page and it never loads. What's the nature of the problems you are having?
 
I was having problems viewing because the pictures would not load, and sometimes the "Photo albums" page would not load correctly. I was just now able to go through the Sequim Album and view all of the photos. It got hung up only once on a photo (when I went to view it full page, all I got was a black line and the photo number.) For the last two days I have had intermittent trouble beening able to view single photos, photo pages, or the "Photo Albums" page. Robbi

Robbi - We had it set up to give only you fits. Don't know why we picked you - we just did. But, since you went so far back to find and use this particular thread, you get extra credit. So I guess we can let you look at the pictures again.

Now that's funny! But, in truth, I don't seem to be having any problems, although I have a suspicion as to why there may be problems to be had. Bill was planning to do an upgrade to the Gallery software when he got home from Sequim. He had even set up a duplicate site with the upgrade in place and asked me to try and foul it up for a few days before installing it for real. But, you know me, I never screw nothin' up. 'Course, I didn't get around to trying.

I say, if the nerd boy messed it up, the nerd boy can fix it!

I figured you were picking on me! But the extra credit makes it worth while. :D Thanks for looking into the antics of that other nerd. I always thought he was a trouble maker. (he won't read this will he?) Actually, if Bill is changing something, I am sure it is for the best. I mean, he is going to change his State, right?

As much as I secretly appreciate that bad boy image you're trying to give me, I can't take credit for the photo problems - yet. Haven't gotten around to the upgrade, probably not for a few more days.

The photo album software is a little old...rather than spend any time troubleshooting, let's just wait until after the upgrade to see if things fix themselves.

He could probably make my boat an 13 footer in a hurry too! Hum, the good news, it would fit in the garage! Robbi
