Photo Albums

Just a reminder that C-Brat member C-Dory photo albums will be created at the request of members wanting to show off pictures of their boats. Just say the word, and we'll whip one up and name it after your boat.
 
My boat is now about a year old. I have, with the help of all the pictures and items on this site, managed to add quite a few enhancements. I have a bunch of pictures. How do I get them to you for posting?

Wonderful Lady Too now has an album set up. You can click the link in your profile info to the left of all your posts to get to it, or you can find it on the Our C-Dorys album list in alphabetical order. Just click your album up and choose Add Photos from the links near the top right of the page. Then follow the instructions to upload the pics. Looks complicated sometimes, but once you have done it a time or two it is a snap.

I've searched both my profile, and the albums list; neither seems to have a link to my own album. I though I'd sent a private message asking for one some time ago; perhaps I forgot to click on send or something. At any rate, I'd like to have a photo album. Thanks
 
You don't have an album...I'll bet Mike will set one up for you. How do I know? Look at the poster info on the left of each post. If you have an album, you will see a link to "Photos" there. Study any page of posts for a few seconds and it will become obvious!

I sent a message to Da Nag asking for an album in case he doesn't see this thread. I have only been meaning to do so for like 2 years now.

A heads up to those requesting photo albums - I'm way behind. I've got a bunch of PM's sitting in my inbox, some are a couple weeks old. I'll try and get to it in the next few days.

Actually, that's one of the primary reasons I've been looking into alternatives to the software we run here. Such automation is easily done, with tools that were not available at the time I set this place up.

On the surface, this place may seem fine to most...but under the covers, it's really starting to show its age, and there are numerous reasons I'd like to switch to something else.

The tough part is not installing something new - it's the migration of all of our data.

That...and putting up with all the inevitable whining that occurs with such a change. :mrgreen:
 
Whining? What whining? Are you tryin' to say there are whiners around here? You know, that kind of ppl who just have to whine and complain about every little change? I am just amazed that you have the temerity to think that ppl who get upset about the tiniest thing would take the time to post that kind of drivel on this site. I mean, this really gets me goin', what's going to happen in a world where innocent ppl are accused of whining and griping and nagging and perptually typing misguided, uneducated, biased, blind-sided, epithets about such important things as this? ... and what about that? ... and then they always do such things as this and never ever do those other things like that, and I guess you're right that perhaps some ppl somewhere could actually be like that. So there. Yep, that's my take on it, and I'm not standin' still for that other stuff either, so things ought to really begin to start to stop changing really really quick!

Just my 2 cents worth...

Good Day Gentleman...

Got a PM and will have boodalu visiting my marina end of month. I noticed they are new to the site, new to their boat, and have no photo album. If you would, please set them up, and end of the month we will have photo's and get them hooked up.

Many thanks for your non-ending help. This is what makes this stuff fun...
