Photoshop Fun

OK :x remind me how to enlarge the image.

Thanks

I think you inserted the thumbnail rather than the sized picture. When you copy the properties, copy them from the full size picture.

Here's one from our pre- C-Dory days on Lake Superior:

Wow, Pat. That's a beautiful image. Going to print that up and frame! Thanks.

Thanks, Bill! I really like this one too. Thank - or blame - Moose for getting us all started down this path! I have a few other shots in mind to play with, stay tuned, I can hardly wait to see what I can do with some Lake Powell images next September!

Those are some really nice photos. So much so that I had to go out and buy the Program. Thanks alot I haven't been away from the computer for hours. Would have been nice if Adobe would have included some instructions but on the other hand I probably wouldn't have read them anyway.

Here's a shot of one of my younger crew members (grand daughter Regan)... My compliments to all of the photographers, there is some outstanding work being shown....

OK, I hope Wandering Sagebrush does not mind, but I couldn't help myself. Here is his Potts Lagoon redux...I think I will print this one out for True Story Tim, who lives here in Snoqualmie Valley...

I've enjoyed the Photoshop discovery happening here. Now that y'all have played with the filters, take it to the next step and add some of your own art with the airbrush tool. Use the edit feature to scale back some of the filters and combine them with others. Select just certain areas to enhance. It's an amazing tool... if you can imagine it, you can create it.

Best wishes,
Jim B.

I assume that you meant to make that a plural y'all (All y'all), rather than the singular y'all

You'll have to ask other Brats who know us... with my Iowa boy roots, I don't think I talk funny. I coulda said, "Youse guys" or "you dudes" or "You boys up nort, dere." I don't speak "drawl" fluently, but I am working on it. :wink

Y'all have fun now,
Jim (not Jim Bob, but Joan does call me Jimmy Ray when the redneck in me comes out)

OK, 2nd attempt. I think Pat is right, I just posted the thumbnail. And, the caption should read Sidney, Canada. Here goes:

Here's the rather uninspiring original of the Battle Island Light:
Battle_Island_Orignal.thumb.jpg

And here it is with a foreshoreline, a brooding sky, and a hint of light beam from the lighthouse added. Then it was turned to B&W, toned slightly sepia, and a little film grain added:

Here's one from the Bellingham CBGT. Thanks again Joe and Ruth.
