I am currently have a Plasteak (plastic teak) cockpit sole on my sailboat. I have seen this on a couple of boats now and am impressed with the look. I am considering doing the cockpit in the 16 Angler as well. The price comes down if more than one boat is done at the same time. Building the templates for the mat is a portion of the price.
This product serves as non-skid but looks like teak, there are different colors to choose from. http://www.plasdeck.com
The more 16 Anglers the better. I am going to finish the season before I do anything so if interested do some DD and get back to me.

Thanks
Greg

Greg,

I've had Plasdeck in Valkyie's cockpit for three years now and we continue to love it. We have a sheet of Plasteak in our cabin, not glued down, so we can easily remove it for cleaning. Pics of both in our album.

I see it as the marine version of Pergo flooring, which I have zero love for.

Maybe in a non-teak color.

Is your non-skid damaged?

I have looked into doing it to the 27, and will one day, but its not cheap. I love the look but hey I like wood pergo floors too.
