The Pacific NW Sportsman show starts tomorrow, who's going? I'm going to try to sneak down there Friday and see if I can scare up a boat driving job for the summer

Not the same, but, I have several crab pots I'd loan ya for the whole season if you want. I'd sell them but sure as hell I do, we'll start craving crab

Ken, thanks for the offer. I'll respectly decline. I'd rather use, lose, and abuse my own stuff. Less guilt that way.
We went to the show yesterday and bought an armstrong davit, pots, floats, leaded line and stuff.

drat, I thought I could get them out of my shed for a while :) I drove by the show yesterday, didn't want to park in Wilsonville so I went and poked around Joe's, going to try again later.

Did you see any real stand out, must have, deals?

I think this is the first year in the 11 that I've been back in the PNW that I'm not going...hmph by golly! :)

No money, no reason to go .... ar ar ar

(Actually, if I buy another piece of fishing gear, I may have to add on to the garage)

it that near portland??

Wish I could go but dont have the time or money. The monreo sportsman show is coming up soon and 100miles closer.

oops, ya it's in Portland. I ventured down there this morning, braved my way in, what a zoo. Lot' of stuff there, I was oogling the pot pullers, pondering their use as a kayak hoist.....I enjoyed zoo adventure, but,I may have screwed up my summer vacation by getting a job.

Caty- I have a friend that would build a garrage addition for a reasonable price :)

damn, I don't know what came over me....kids school bills I guess :)

That's no excuse, young man! You better get written permission from Admiral M! {giggle} or M might be GLAD you have a summer job? naw....

Thank you for the offer of the friend that would extend the garage for the right price....I need to go fishing...that'll cure my mid-winter grumps :smile

M likes the idea of some paychecks rolling in rather than me spending money on boatin & fishin stuff. The odds are I'll be workin in AK and I aint to sure she's real keen on that...it's more of a quasi-keen thing

ya, I figure I had better either use it or loose it. I have a lot to learn about up north, but, gotta start sometime getting lined out on my early retirement career. :)

you're going to have to go it alone on the Lake Shasta business opportunity :)
