This excellent site disappeared several months ago, and with it, all of the destination-specific information upon which I had come to rely. Does anyone know if it moved, or did it go belly up?

I'd be curious what sites people use to investigate possible destinations. If you want to go to, say, Deception Pass through the Swinomish channel, where would you go to read about hazards, tidal considerations, mooring, fuel docks, etc.?

Yeah, I was looking for it a few months ago and noticed it was gone. I found this website however. http://www.nwboat.com/ Is it the same? I can't remember how the original looked.

dag gum I noticed that site was dead, the IACboatlaunch site is dead also. Those where some handy sites.....I think it's a conspiracy and it's all W's fault

I noticed that second site, too, dancer. Nope, it's not the same content. I went ahead and looked up who registered nwboating.net and emailed him to find out what happened. I'll post the content myself, if I have to.

Try www.archive.org for pages that have "fallen out of print". Put the URL into the search bar. Pictures are generally not retained but the information should be. :beer
