Port livewell hose replacement

So my port livewell hose broke due to old age. I attempted to replace it with sturdy clear tubing you’d use for bilge pumps and whatnot but it just would turn/twist correctly… so I took a heat gun to it but still in order to turn/twist correctly to fit to the discharge port it pinched down a bit… this will probably affect my drain rate and increase chances of stuff clogging it. I do use it as a livewell…

I’ve searched here and the only apparent matching discussion labeled “CRUMBLING HOSE” won’t open.

Is the replacement hose a 1.5in pool hose? Prolly 3ft? Thanks!
