It would help if you told us what browser you are using because even though they all have the same functions the names for the functions can be different. Doing it from a phone or tablet is different yet.

I'm all apple. this machine is a 15" air. Since retiring 3 weeks ago I got rid of any software not apple, like google, chrome and anything else that work put on here.

Hm, gotta run for now. But I'll see if I can do something with my iPad then.

In the mean time, here is that link again for inserting photos with a laptop and Firefox.

Spent an hour on my iPad tonight. Managed to upload a photo to my C-Brat photo album....pretty much the same way that my laptop PC works. But gave up trying to bring that photo into a thread then. Problem was, I could never get to where I could find the photos url link. I did learn how to right click on the ipad though. :? For me, I'll just continue using my laptop to work with photos on C-Brats. Colby

Colby - On the iPad or iPhone with Safari just long press the image and choose copy. That puts the URL in the clipboard.

If using Chrome on the IOS device there are a couple ways of getting the link.

You need to right-click on the image itself, then copy image URL.,

Their is a difference between a Mac and an Iphone or Ipad. Tell me how do you right click on a Iphone or an Ipad.

You Hold down on the image and then you are givin an option list, but it appears that the option to copy the image link isn't there any more. In both Safari and Chrome. I'll see if Duck Duck Go can do it. Nope duck duck won’t do it either.

I did find the copy link on Chrome on the Ipad, but when I paste the code after the IMG tag it pastes the wrong code. I used to be able to make this work still hunting.

In Crome on iPad in the selection to choose, pick “open image in new tab”, that will change it to a jpeg, that can be posted in c-brat thread after adding the pre
. You must copy that link then add pre & post img

So how do you get chrome on an ipad? I have safari on both my ipad and my iphone. (Just asking. No desire to change.) Sometimes life is just much easier with a PC laptop.

Well, I’m giving up. I am not able to post a pic in a thread using an iPhone. I tried in safari and chrome and I tried opening the image in a new tab like Jay described but nothing worked…

This will only work with Chrome on the Ipad or Iphone.
When you get to the image you want click on it to enlarge the Image.
Then click and hold the image and a menu will popup
pick copy image to new tab
goto the tab with the image
highlight the text in the address bar at the top of the screen
pick copy
now goto the topic where you want to post and click the IMG tag
Now put your cursor at the end Img box in the edit window and paste the link that you copied.
Then click on the Img/ tag
Make sure that there are no spaces between the flags when you copy it sometimes wants to put a space between the flag and the text.
click the preview button to test it
if it doesn't work there is a space where it shouldn't be.
The line should look like this

I added a space between and http: so you can see the text if you get rid of the space then the picture will display.

Try it now and see if you can make it work.
