Power match for 22, 23 2nd 25, what seems appropriate

Two Honda 115s on a CD 25? Nope.

The Honda "Hi Power" 115 is
4 cyl, 2354 cc
480+ lbs x 2 = 960+ lbs

The Honda "Mid Range" 90 is
4 cyl, 1496 cc
360ish lbs x 2 = 720ish lbs

and the mfg hp rating for the CD 25 is 200.

I had twin Honda 90s on a CD 26 which was about ideal for me.
You could do twin Honda 100s which weigh the same as the 90s.

Aye.

I googled the weight and it said the weight for the Honda 90 was the same as the 115. 359 lbs
Is the transom to weak for anything over 200 hp? I guess I don’t understand

My 2 cents. Get the highest hp for the weight. Not all brands are the same. so my 27 cdory has a 225 Honda ( I did not pick it). The 250 and 275 Honda are the same weight and motor. So I would have gone with the 275.. but wait! the newer mercury 225 is 186lbs lighter then the Honda 225, which has not been updated since 2003. So when I repower I will go with a mercury or a Yamaha. The Yamaha is lighter then the Honda by about 60 lbs but is the only single that will position hold or drift hold. All other motors need twins. And as much as we crab shrimp and ling fish it would be really nice to have. they call it fish point. they also offer auto pilot built in to the motor so no hydraulic pumps.

Donald,

The hunt is often the most pleasurable part of buying a boat (sort of
like dating the field before settling down...).
My experience is don't miss it and sharing it with others dilutes it;
no-one else has your exact ideas, preconceptions, fantasies, plans
or experiences and can tell what you want to do initially (that will change
pretty soon).

And by looking at the number of boats many on this site have, or have had,
you will make some mistakes and end up, later, buying another boat. That's
a blessing in disguise since it affords to go on another hunt.

Aye.

There is no doubt that a boat will happen soon.
