I’ve decided on a Suzuki 200 for my C-Dory 25 repower. We run fairly heavily loaded with 2 adults, 2 children, rooftop AC, IceCo cooler, Honda 2200, solar generator and panel, 2 house batteries, tools, 100 gals of fuel, full fresh water tank plus drinking water, etc.

When water and other conditions safely allow, we prefer to cruise pretty fast. The old Honda 150 had us right around 20mph (statute), and I didn’t often run it much harder however the mid 20’s would be nice sometimes.

I’ve scoured the forum and haven’t found any specific prop suggestions for this configuration. What prop would be best?

I am running (my boat came with) a 3x16x18.5 on my Suzuki 200. It's good but I have learned here that I am not making full RPM's (I think, I am remembering only 5400 rpm @ WOT, just about to launch for the season to confirm) and it was recommended that I go to a 17" pitch if I am not hitting 6000-6200. My 25 was making 37 mph wide open running relatively light, two humans, two dogs, full tanks and not much else. The guy I bought it from said he'd been making 42 mph, but that was in salt and he may have had a different prop on it.
