I’ll be taking my 2004 22’ down to Port St. Joe over the next couple of days and I wanted to get a tarp for the top as they do not have any covered storage currently available. I’ve seen sizes from 16x22/24 to 20x30 recommended. I’ll be using it regularly (weekly/biweekly) and planning on something white 10mil+

Depends on what you have on top and how far down the sides you want it to go. Because of the shape of the boat vs. a retangular tarp, there is going to be a lot excess in certain areas. When I covered my 22 with a tarp, a lot of trimming was needed to get it to fit reasonably. Don't remember what size tarp it was. Got a appropriate cover from Angola Canvas that is way better (but also a lot more expensive that a tarp).

I keep my CD22 under tarp over winter, and found a 15'x30' fits pretty well. It comes down the sides, but leaves room to bungee to the trailer and remove all slack along the sides from the bow to the cockpit, and covers the motor and anchor nicely. You need to put together something to keep the tarp raised over the cockpit to prevent water pooling there. I have a cover over 3/4 of the cockpit, and that works nicely allowing you to tension everything. Here is where I got it....
