CW, sorry your leaving but most your points are fishing related. There's a Northwest fishing/hunting/general boating/ forum called www.ifish.net that would be perfect for your needs. Definately check it out. :beer
CW":2ozsad0k said:Administrators: please delete my photo album. I'm done here. I may p.m. someone if I have a specific question about something, but generally, I've already got the contact information of those I most respect and admire. I may eventually purchase a 24 or 25 Tomcat, but I've seen where the cards lay. It matters not that I've boated my entire life in Lake Washington, the Strait of Juan De Fuca, the San Juans or the Columbia and Snake Rivers. It doesn't matter that I know the middle Columbia river better than anyone on this site or how to work these waters for the large salmon I so enjoy catching (11 over 30 lbs. in the last 4 years. This year I had an "off" year and didn't catch one that big, just 40 steelhead and salmon from 8 - 26 lbs. ) It doesnt' matter I've flyfished New Zealand with both left and right hand 80 ft. casts at age 18 for a year and Costa Rica twice. It matters not that I share my techniques of fishing and have invited to take C-Brats on the best part of our short salmon season or that I've attended two C-Brat gatherings. Hunting, though clearly an activity that can be done in conjunction with boats, is out of line. My experiences on the Columbia River bar or out fishing for halibut and tuna are null and void and worth nothing here as is my background in the jungles of Panama and U.S. Army Infantry combat there in 1989. My love of photography, dogs, family and water is not enough. I own the wrong boat. C.W.
