Rescued a C-Dory

We went through all the tide names when naming our present boat. I think the new one will be HIGH TIDE II. Really original huh??? My son may buy our present boat but he runs in Prince William Sound and we run in Cook Inlet.
Jack

Jack,

I think I added the 485 miles from Eastpoint to West Palm twice, then added a couple hundred extra in the event I have to take a southerly tack due to a late winter storm. It's no big deal for me to remove the outbound leg to West Palm and I'll set the trip odometer when I latch on and let you read it when I arrive and let the miles speak for themselves. Mapquest says that the most direct route is 2,774.30 miles. That would be $3,606.

Oops, looks like I wasn't very quick on the uptake...and didn't read the second page of posts (duh, sorry Alan))!

Jack, Cory is very good and drives like a maniac...which is to say I wonder when he sleeps!

Charlie

Charlie, nothing to apoligize to me about. Having owned my own 18 wheeler and ten years of over-the road driving, the mileage looked funny. That's why I got out my atlas to check.

Glad Jack has been able to make arrangements .

Allan

The ProAngler is back in Washington. It was delivered from W. Palm Beach, Fla. to Wenatchee in 3 days, no not flying, driving.

Great job by Cory's delivery service. I highly recommend him for boat delivery. He runs a 1st class operation and is a great guy to deal with.

Now the long trek to Alaska. We are leaving Sat. morning.
I am so excited I could pee my pants. :D
