I was calling about my simrad equipment on the Merlin and found out Rodger’s is closing at the end of the month. This sucks because they are great to deal with and very knowledgeable with good prices too. Not sure where to go after.

WOW, This is a real Bummer. So Sorry to hear about this. I have dealt with Rodgers Marine for 25+ years, 22 with my C-Dory SleepyC. They have done all of the electronics installation on SleepyC (Sorry, this photo does not include the new AxiumPro 12 or the new HawkEye sounder.)
Rodgers used to be a "small family" operation, Tim, Jan and the two Marty's. and a couple of installers that I can't remember their names. Rodgers has been a PNW industry standard for years. (57, since 1969) when I bought my first handheld Marine VHF in the 70's from them. They were an Iconic standard. Always helpful, always fairly priced and impeccable neat and clean installations, and then followed with person to person, onboard instruction with patience and perfection.

After Tim and Jan sold and retired, the Marty's left and the whole new crew came on board, the same service level just didn't carry on. The last install that I did there was with all new staff and it was pretty obvious that there was a different program ethos, and it was the first install that had issues in technique and competency. The new owner was a big marina store across the water and there was none of the family friendly, personal service component remaining. The closing is unfortunate, but not unforeseeable.

Tim, Jan and the Marty's, You all did good!!!
